The Lake Turano tour is the big new feature! It is an innovative, modern, and eco-friendly service that allows both adults and children to experience the lake like never before.
Aboard the “THIORA”—a 100% green vessel powered by electric motors and photovoltaic panels—you will enjoy a unique and sustainable experience. Handcrafted in Italy, it is the perfect way to explore the lake without impacting the environment.
Thiora can be enjoyed all year round, thanks to the enclosure that allows it to be used even on cooler days!
With ENGLISH and Italian audio guides, you will discover the history, legends, curiosities, flora, and fauna of the Valley. Every word will make the journey even more fascinating.
Lake tour with Aperitif
At certain times—usually at the end of the day or on weekends—an aperitif will be served during the Thiora excursion, in collaboration with local bars and restaurants. You can enjoy it accompanied by snacks and a pleasant… …background music, to make the experience even more relaxing and unforgettable. But remember, we’re on a boat, and safety comes first ;-)!
Boat rental for private events/tours
Thiora is available for private charter for groups looking to celebrate or simply get together for a unique experience.
Whether it’s a bachelorette or bachelor party, a birthday, a special event, a corporate gathering, a swim in open water, or any other idea you have in mind—contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate you!
In collaboration with local bars and restaurants, we can provide aperitifs, snacks, cakes, and more, subject to available space on board.
Background music will set the mood, ensuring an unforgettable experience as we sail the waters of Lake Turano.
Boat rental for environmental education
Would you like to give your students a unique day out? We can organize a full day on the lake featuring audio-guided tours on the Thiora boat, as well as kayaking, dragon boating, and sailing experiences. We can also include visits to Antuni and the Vallocchie Waterfalls, with activities tailored to the participants’ needs and ages—including collaborations with the Italian Naval League (Lega Navale Italiana), Lake Turano branch.

Guided Lake Tour in kayak with Environmental Guide
During the summer season, guided kayak tours of the lake will be offered, led by an environmental hiking guide. After a brief introductory session for beginners, the guide will safely lead you to discover the lake and its secrets.
Schedules will be published periodically on the website.
And if you are already a group and would like different times or days—or perhaps want to use the Dragon Boat to paddle all together—contact us, and we will do our best to arrange it for you!
Lake Equipment Rental
hanks to VIVI TURANO and our partner companies, you can rent watercraft—including electric-powered options—to explore the lake at your own pace.
We offer brand-new PEDAL-E (electric pedal boats for effortless cruising), classic pedal boats, single and double kayaks, and both traditional and pedal-driven SUPs—all comfortable, safe, and suitable for everyone!
Alternatively, you can simply relax on a sunbed while admiring the lake and the sunset.
